Call 08 supports transnational thematic test projects that take mature solutions into real-life implementation and produce results transferable across the Euro-MED area. Projects must answer a territorial need, run pilots in real-life settings and include a training activity for the Euro-MED Academy.

Eligible themes

Projects must address one of the missions and listed topics: Innovative Sustainable Economy (air pollution in construction; water pollution in agri-food; water plastic pollution); Natural Heritage (ecosystem restoration; biodiversity resilience); or Green Living Areas (wellbeing and health; urban agriculture and resilient food systems). Sustainable Tourism is not included in this call.

Partnership and funding

• Minimum partnership: five partners from five countries in the programme cooperation area.
• The lead partner must be a public body or a body governed by public law. Partners need relevant policy and subject-matter competence and suitable pilot facilities. Health expertise is required for the wellbeing and health topic.
• Written application through Jems is followed by an eliminatory oral phase. Mandatory annexes are due 27 November 2026.
• Indicative allocation: about €20 million (€16 million Interreg funds plus €4 million national co-financing); around ten awards; maximum project budget €2 million; maximum duration 24 months.
• Planned implementation: 1 June 2027 to 31 May 2029. Confirm the current timetable and national co-financing with the programme and Jems before applying.

No project match is confirmed. The AE Valley Shopfloor Copilot description does not establish a mature pilot that fits one of the seven eligible topics, an eligible public lead partner, a five-country consortium, pilot sites, national co-financing or implementation readiness. A private company cannot lead this call.
